We are working on launching a monthly newsletter for The Tennesse Predator Callers Association. There will also be a section devoted to the Mid-Tennesse guys via (Coyotes Unlimited).

We need input from the membership for two items. We are looking for a name for the newsletter and also a tag line to be used under the name banner. For instance, here is an exampe from my old California Club.

The Predator Press
"Good news for you. Bad news for predators."

I would like some suggestions for a newsletter name and once we get a bunch, we can do a poll and vote to see which one most of the members like.

If you have an idea for a tag line, post it and we will put a list together and take a vote. I have come up with some tag lines and I'll attmpt to put them in poll form below. Your week long polling votes will thin that herd.

Thanks.....Red

I voted for “Doing our part to protect Tennesse's game and domestic animals.” I've seen some farmers you could get mixed up with a possum smiling when I told them I killed a coyote on their place. On the thought if folks from outside our group get to see this. I think "The Predator Press" may give the wrong impression... how about "The Predator Hunting Press" these days "predator" has some other bad meanings. Wink

If the "Doing our part...." is chosen, you might want tot check the spelling of "Tennessee".

And you might want to check out the spelling of the word "to". We all make mistakes now and again. Smile

Very Happy Very Happy And I can't even blame it on the auto correction spelling on an iPhone. I did that one all by myself. Didn't mean to offend at all - hope you took none. Razz

Just a couple of ideas I thought up...

On Stand "Turning Predators Into Prey, One Shot At A Time"

Other Newsletter Names:

The Fur Fighter, Fur Down, The Coyote Connection, The Monthly Howl

Other Tag Lines:

Stopping Predators Dead In Their Tracks, The Newsletter That Leaves Predators Dead in their Tracks, The Newsletter that keeps you in touch with your predator instincts, The Newsletter that turns Predators into Prey

Give me thru the weekend and I'll see if I can come up with a few more.

Wow!! We are getting some really great suggestions here. In the end, all of the guys can vote to see what the final name will be. Keep them cards and letters coming in.

It's going to be a tough vote... I like several of the suggestions! The "Acme Press" brings back some old memories.. When I was growing up my Dad loved "The Roadrunner"... He'd sit and watch it with me on Sat. mornings. I carved him a call a year or so ago... LOL
