I just want to say congrats to Jason for another win. He took first place in the Howling Division and also won the All-Around Championship. Very Happy

Personally, I think howling is probably one of the hardest sounds to master when it comes to predator calling just because of the different types of coyote vocalizations that they use. So for someone to win this event more than once is quite a feat. Again, congrats and keep calling them in!

Actually, the event was the East Coast Predator Showdown. The same one he won last year.

Thank you all VERY much for all the kind words. I really appreciate it. As Jake said, I was lucky enough to win the Howling Division and also the All-Around Championship. I'm amazed at how good some of these guys competing sound. The calling competitions have really taken a step forward in the past few years that I've been competing. When I first started almost everybody was blowing open reeds and at this competition I think all the guys but one were using diaphragms to howl with. Thanks again for all the kind words. It was a fun, but cold and snowy, time!

Congratulations Jason. You definately earned the win. They picked some tough calls out with those group howls. I've never heard anybody do them as well as you did. It sounded even better than when you were down here this summer. Wish I could have been there and heard them in person.
